FAQ

How many Wind Gems are in Queen's Domain?
Five total for Holy Sword Endu. Endu begins with one installed and four more are found in the world; collecting all five unlocks the Feel the Wind achievement per GameFAQs and trophy mirrors.
Do Wind Gems increase Endu damage?
No. Wind Gems only add Wind Dash charges. Weapon experience raises Power and can evolve Endu at level 10; the special Storm Gem meter is separate from the dash row.
Where is the second Wind Gem?
From the Cemetery Precipice Crystal Monument on the Isle of Neasied, follow the eastern cliff path, climb rubble at the wall's low point, and reach the small tower with the diamond-shaped pickup.
Where is the third Wind Gem?
Inside Obmuer Temple below the large pit by the second interior Crystal Monument: Wind Dash through the left circular wall opening, clear the skeleton staircase route, then pick up the gem northwest of the Trident Key–Emerald ledge.
Can you enter the Tower of Knowledge without all five Wind Gems?
Yes. The first three gems cover mandatory Obmuer crossings; you do not need gems four and five before the Tower of Knowledge. Three outdoor gargoyle beacons and the Azure Torch gate the tower entrance instead.

Wind Gems socket into Holy Sword Endu and add Wind Dash charges—the diamond row under your Power Meter on the HUD. Queen’s Domain has no in-game map, so this checklist uses Crystal Monuments, bridges, and dungeon landmarks instead of coordinates. Gems one through three are documented in multiple launch-week walkthroughs; gems four and five are confirmed to exist but lack published landmark directions we could verify as of 2026-11-02.

What Do Wind Gems Do When Collected?

Each Wind Gem installs into Endu’s guard and raises your maximum consecutive air dashes by one. Each dash spends one diamond until the row slowly refills. Wind Dash works even when Endu is not your active melee weapon, so you can keep a Pierce or Impact weapon equipped while dashing.

Installed gems (typical) Movement milestone cited in guides
1 (default with Endu) Eastern bridge toward the Tower approach; shorter gaps on Neasied
2 Western broken bridge toward Obmuer Temple—needs two consecutive dashes
3 Large interior pit and Sacred Cistern crossing inside Obmuer Temple—needs three dashes
4–5 Required for Feel the Wind (GameFAQs / PSN trophy text); exact pickup landmarks not in dual-sourced walkthroughs at launch

Collecting all five triggers Feel the Wind. That is separate from Raging Tempest, which needs the Storm Gem in the Tower of Knowledge.

How Many Wind Gems Does Endu Hold?

Endu’s inventory text describes five Wind Gem sockets plus a separate Storm Gem socket. You begin with one gem when you loot Endu after the Shrine Guardian. The other four are world pickups that auto-install when collected.

Weapon leveling does not substitute for gems. Raising Endu’s Power will not replace a missing third dash for Obmuer’s pit crossing.

Where Is Each Wind Gem? (Landmark Checklist)

Use save and fast travel at nearby Crystal Monuments before risky dashes—Queen’s Domain has no autosaves.

# Region Landmark directions (compass-facing) Prerequisite Walkthrough
1 Isle of Neasied — Endu Shrine Granted with Holy Sword Endu after defeating the Shrine Guardian Crypt Key route, shrine gate Isle of Neasied
2 Isle of Neasied — Cemetery Precipice From Cemetery Precipice Crystal Monument, take the eastern path along the cliff wall, climb rubble where the upper wall dips lowest, follow the road north, then west into the small tower with the diamond-shaped pickup Endu + one dash to reach the cemetery hill loop Isle of Neasied
3 Obmuer Temple — pit level At the second interior Crystal Monument beside the large pit, look down at two circular doorways; Wind Dash into the left (open) opening (right gate is locked). Fight through the lower passage and skeleton staircase ambush, collect Trident Key–Emerald, dash across the northwest gap, then grab the gem northwest of that fight space Three dashes for later pit exits; temple door needs four Triangular Slates Obmuer Temple
4 Not landmark-verified at launch Launch-week guides state two gems remain after the early trio but do not name a fourth pickup site we could cross-check Likely mid/late exploration after Tower progress —
5 Not landmark-verified at launch Same source gap as gem 4; Feel the Wind still demands five total Same as gem 4 —

Which Gates Need How Many Dashes?

Blocked-path tables from puzzle and boss guides align on these gates:

Blocked route Wind Dash requirement
Western broken bridge (Neasied → Obmuer approach) 2 dashes
Obmuer Temple large interior pit / cistern gap 3 dashes
Tower of Knowledge entrance 3 gargoyle beacons + Azure Torch (not a gem count gate)

You can open the Tower of Knowledge with three gems, then hunt gems 4–5 while exploring later regions.

How Do Wind Gems Relate to the Storm Gem?

The Storm Gem fills Endu’s ultimate attack meter and unlocks Raging Tempest. It does not count toward the five Wind Gems and does not add dashes. If you are one dash short of a gap, you need another Wind Gem, not the Storm Gem—see the dedicated Storm Gem page.
